The flowers emerge a lovely shade of apricot with bright white edges, which give the blooms a fabulous glowing effect when placed in the sunlight. Amaryllis bulbs make excellent holiday gifts, and bring springtime cheer and color to the cold days of winter. Blooms appear within 8-10 weeks of planting. With proper care, bulbs can be forced indoors year after year.

Growing Tips

  • Pruning Instructions:

    Remove spent flower stalk after blooming. Allow foliage to dry out before removing to allow energy to be stored in the bulb for next year's bloom.

  • Watering Requirements:

    Water sparingly until the bulb develops leaves or flowers, then water more when necessary.

We take advance reservations, and then just as soon as the crops are harvested, our staff of K. van Bourgondien experts makes an on-the-spot selection of the finest bulbs available to fill those reservations.
We will pack and ship your order based on the following schedules.
