Variegated Red Twig Dogwood

Variegated Red Twig Dogwood

Variegated Red Twig Dogwood offers some of the best qualities in shrubs—visual interest year-round, easy care and deer resistance. This deciduous shrub creates interest during the growing season with its green and white variegated leaves. For even more variegation, grow in the afternoon shade. During the winter months, its red twigs splash the winter landscape with color. Growing 6-9 ft. tall, with an upright, spreading habit, Variegated Red Twig Dogwood can be grown as a hedge along a walkway or property line. It's also a favorite for planting for erosion control in naturalized areas. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. For best results, plant in shade or partial shade. Zones 2-8
