Coneflower SunSeekers Double Scoop Raspberry

A rare coneflower indeed, this luscious variety from the famed SunSeekers series features a highly unusual color in echinacea, plus a stout and sturdy habit that doesn't need staking in the garden. Rich, rose-red flowers are large—4" wide, to be exact—, so they really catch the attention of passersby, garden visitors, butterflies and bees. A distinctive central cone is surrounded by lightly reflexed ray petals, giving the flowers an open look that beneficial pollinators can't resist. Blooms from mid to late summer, and sometimes blooms sporadically until the first fall frost.
