Wood Anemone (Anemone nemorosa)

Wood Anemone (Anemone nemorosa)

There's nothing better than enjoying a garden that is filled with bright, beautiful flowers everywhere… even in shadowy beds and forgotten corners. That's why gardening customers and landscaping clients alike love liberal plantings of Wood Anemone. This early-spring shade lover bears an abundance of creamy white flowers that really pop amid the plant's rich green foliage. A quick-growing perennial, this versatile plant adds color, beauty and interest to darkened borders, shady beds and woodland sites. They prefer to be planted in soil that is rich in organic matter or humus. Plant in groups for a richer, more textural display in part to full shade.
