Lilium Henryi

Lilium Henryi

Exceptionally tall with striking appeal! Thanks to its statuesque 4-8' height (about 4 to 5' the first year and up to 8' in following years when well-established), Lilium henryi is impossible to overlook in the landscape. Your customers will revel in its dramatic presence when it comes into full bloom in mid to late summer—it really is a sight to behold. Atop the strong, green-to-purple stems rests some of the most stunning lilies we've seen. Light orange blooms speckled in deep maroon-red feature deeply recurved petals that arch back to show off the flower's exotic coloration and long, slender anthers. Henryi is a fragrant lily variety that reliably lures beneficial pollinators, such as butterflies, to the garden, which actually benefits the entire landscape. It's the perfect variety for planting at the back of a sunny border or in a mixed cutting garden or focal point. It perennializes well, dependably reappearing year after year.
  • Hardiness Zones 3-8
  • Mature Height 4 - 8 feet
  • Bloom Time Mid to late summer
  • Light Requirements Full Sun, Half Sun / Half Shade
