Double-Flowered Meadow Saxifrage (Saxifraga granulata 'Flore Pleno')

Double-Flowered Meadow Saxifrage (Saxifraga granulata 'Flore Pleno')

Showcase the lush, white blooms of Double-Flowered Meadow Saxifrage like they do on Dutch estates—in large masses that create drifts of fluffy white flowers. Also known as Fair Maids of France, this shade lover exhibits exceptional flower power in the garden or landscape, producing multiple blossoms per stem for sensational floral displays with very little effort. It is the perfect choice for brightening up rock gardens or adding delicate beauty to rugged wooded sites. Plant alongside brightly hued early bloomers, such as Erythronium, for a more dynamic, designer-inspired display. Meadow saxifrage naturalizes beautifully, so you'll spend less time filling in bare garden spaces in years to come.
  • Hardiness Zones 4-9
  • Mature Height 8 - 10 inches
  • Bloom Time Mid Spring to late spring
  • Light Requirements Half Sun / Half Shade, Full Shade
  • Container Friendly
  • Naturalizes Well
