Whether massed together or as an accent with other plants, it's stunning. Grown specifically for their ornamental foliage, caladiums are tender perennials that can enhance almost any shady area, from patios and decks to shaded corners of the garden. Growing 12-18" tall, they can be grown in patio pots or the garden. They're excellent for shaded window boxes where sun-loving annuals won't grow. Caladium Freida Hemple is also ideal for a conservatory or warm porch during the winter months.

1-2" deep (bud tips up) and 12-18" apart. Water well after planting. Place in a warm, filtered light area away from direct sun light which will scorch the leaves.
