Reblooming German Iris Red Hot Chili

Reblooming German Iris Red Hot Chili

When searching for the perfect perennial to add color, style and flair to borders and alongside walkways or entries, consider choosing Red Hot Chili. This intermediate rebloomer produces moderate 18" stems topped by flowers that feature vivid yellow standards generously washed in rich ruby red and falls of bright yellow with a unique rust-red, dotted edge. Because it grows to only 18", it stays upright even during the breezy, rainy days of mid spring. Among the first German Iris to bloom each year. Plus, customers will get to enjoy these unusual flowers again in late summer to early fall. Perennializes like a dream, reappearing reliably year after year. Perfect for cut-flower arrangements, too!
  • Hardiness Zones 4-9
  • Mature Height 18 inches
  • Bloom Time Mid spring, reblooming in late summer-fall
  • Light Requirements Full Sun, Half Sun / Half Shade
