Reblooming German Iris Frappe

Reblooming German Iris Frappe

Iris aficionados and landscapers alike have embraced this stunning, color-changing rebloomer ever since its introduction in 1990. As Frappe's flowers mature on its 34" stalks, its standards transition from very pale strawberry pink to pinkish white. The lower petals are a slightly deeper pale strawberry pink blended with very pale raspberry pink. White striations underly the upper third of these falls, while bright tangerine orange beards complete the color show. A dependable rebloomer year after year, it first appears in mid to late spring before producing a second round of flowers in late summer to early fall. A light fragrance adds to its appeal. Adds elegance and beauty to any outdoor space, such as in a mid-border mix of perennials or in a foundation planting. Its good looks, pleasant scent and long stems make it ideal for cut-flower arrangements.
