Large-Cupped Daffodil Slim Whitman

New

Large-Cupped Daffodil Slim Whitman

Like its singular namesake, Slim Whitman is an exceptional daffodil cultivar that puts on quite a show in early spring. With its creamy white perianths that neatly surround a vibrant orange-yellow cup, it makes a spectacular accent variety for mixed seasonal beds or as a mass planting where it can be appreciated from afar. The cups are large and feature a thin white edge that makes them quite different from the average yellow-cupped daff. This one is a true garden standout. Plant in sunny sites with well-drained soil for best results, and Slim Whitman will reliably flower from March to late April.
  • Hardiness Zones 4-9
  • Mature Height 14 - 18 inches
  • Bloom Time Early - Mid Spring (March-April)
  • Light Requirements Full Sun, Half Sun / Half Shade
  • Deer Resistant
  • Cut Flower
  • Container Friendly
