The unique and compact plant bears loads of soft flower panicles in July and finely textured foliage that is stunning when backlit on sunny days. As an ornamental grass, Hameln makes an exquisite accent planting for nearly anywhere in the landscape. We love to see it planted along walkways where visitors may admire its soft flower heads, or as a welcoming entryway display. It is great for mass plantings, too.
