A new introduction from Dutch hybridizers, For Ever Gladiolus Breeding, Evi stuns gardeners and pros both with its perfectly formed florets in sumptuous shades of violet to purple. Though they will readily grow to 4-5 feet tall, the flower spikes are quite strong, remaining upright in the garden or as an eye-catching indoor arrangement. Each stem carries an abundance of wide florets, with 10 to 12 of the flowers open at one time. Evi is a breathtaking addition to foundation plantings, back borders, cutting gardens and it creates a bit of bold color when planted along a fence line. Deer resistant and easy to grow, these glads appear in early to midsummer.
