Extend the spring daffodil season by adding a generous planting of Standard Value trumpet daffs. This late-blooming daffodil cultivar not only lets gardeners and clients enjoy their seasonal displays weeks longer than traditional varieties, it provides bright, near-neon color, too. Standard Value features perianth segments of soft sulfur yellow that surround substantial trumpets in a vivid hue of citron yellow—so bright you may have to wear shades to view them! An unusual daffodil, it is the latest of the yellow trumpet varieties to bloom in spring. Flower appear from mid April to mid May—effectively bridging the gap between early spring blooms and the summer perennials still to come.
