For a charming display that looks more sea than land, plant our newest addition in groups along sunny borders or in presentation beds. Sea Power is a lavish, cornflower-blue iris that delivers a unique visual effect when planted in clusters. The rich color and luxuriant ruffles create the look of surging waves, especially on breezy spring days. Winner of the prestigious Dykes Medal, Sea Power produces an abundance of blooms and exhibits outstanding garden performance. Blooms appear in midseason, adding color and texture to the landscape from May to early June. Strong, 38" stems hold the flowers aloft and give them extra staying power in freshly cut arrangements.
