Epimedium Rose Queen

Epimedium Rose Queen

Gardeners with shady spaces to fill will simply adore this lovely flowering perennial. Epimedium Rose Queen bursts onto the scene in mid spring with unique bitone blooms of soft pink with rose-pink petals. The spurred flower form is quite eye catching and the coloration is charming. The compact plants reach a low 8-10" tall, making Rose Queen a natural flowering ground cover. Plant it in darkened corners of the garden, shadowy front borders or in containers. Epimedium, also known as Fairy Wings, is very long lived and tough, though it is a slow grower. Foliage remains attractive into the first weeks of fall.
