Dwarf Canna Apricot Dream

Dwarf Canna Apricot Dream

We are in love with this canna offering. Seldom seen before in cannas, the soft apricot-hued flowers of Apricot Dream are accented by silky rose centers and slightly darker throats. They are something to be seen when in full bloom. The elegant coloration of the blooms contrasts nicely with the deeper green shade of the strap-like foliage. This dwarf canna type grows to a manageable 40" tall—the perfect height for adding to sunlit borders and mixed container gardens. The showy flowers of Apricot Dream really stand out amid lower-growing perennials of all shades, but they really shine when planted in large groups where they can be fully admired. Though cannas are not hardy, they are easy to grow and bloom quickly in midsummer to fall.
  • Hardiness Zones 3-10. Lift in Fall in zones 3-7
  • Mature Height 40 inches
  • Bloom Time July till first frost
  • Light Requirements Full Sun
  • Deer Resistant
  • Container Friendly
