Double Oriental Lily Lodewijk

Double Oriental Lily Lodewijk

The perfect bloom for marketing to allergy sufferers and gardeners who eschew messy pollen, Lodewijk is a gorgeous, pollen-free lily with style to spare. This fluffy, fully double Oriental features lime-green stripes down the center of each lightly ruffled petal for a look that is anything but ordinary. Midsummer blooms emit a sweetly spicy fragrance that intoxicates all who pass by. Plant in groupings of three or five for the most dramatic effect in the garden. Ideal for borders, along walkways or in decorative containers. Lodewijk is easy to grow and quick to bloom, and prefers well-drained soil in a sunny or partly shaded site. It perennializes well, returning yearly without fail.
