Cold Hardy Alstroemeria Mix

Cold Hardy Alstroemeria Mix

A breakthrough in our eyes, this alstroemeria mix shows much better cold-hardiness than other alstroemerias. Producing clusters of peach, pink, yellow or cream flowers with cinnamon-red flecks, these bushy, compact plants grow just 14-24" tall making them ideal for borders and containers. Low maintenance and long-lived, these cold-hardy perennials bloom continuously for more than five months during the summer and fall. Plants and prefer a rich, not too heavy regular to slightly acidic soil in full sun to partial shade. Erect stems with alternate, linear, lance-shaped leaves are 3" long and although not very tall, they make great, long-lasting cut flowers. No. 1 roots. Lift in fall in zones 3-4.
  • Hardiness Zones 3-9
  • Mature Height 14 - 24 inches
  • Bloom Time All summer and fall (extremely long bloom time, esepcially when dead headed regularly)
  • Light Requirements Full Sun, Half Sun / Half Shade
