K. van Bourgondien times its shipments from Holland so that bulbs and bareroots arrive at the proper planting time (depending on climatic conditions) for each area of North America.

We take advanced orders, and as the crops are harvested, our staff of K. van Bourgondien experts makes an on-the-spot selection of the finest bulbs available to fill those reservations.

We will pack and ship your order based on the following schedules. The type of product you order or the weather may affect the anticipated shipping schedule. Please note that we cannot ship outside of the 48 contiguous states. What zone am I in?

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via USPS or FedEx.

Orders for gift certificates will be shipped immediately.

Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship any plant items from late June through August. General merchandise will be shipped with your plant order.

Upon placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your order and a shipping estimate. You will also receive an email notification when your order actually ships with an updated arrival estimate. If you have ordered multiple items, you may receive them in more than one shipment. We will send you a separate email confirming each shipment. Large orders may be shipped in more than one package. Your order confirmation will have an estimated shipping time.

Which Cyclamen Bulbs Should I Buy?

When selecting cyclamen bulbs for sale, the major considerations are bloom time, flower color and foliage color. For blooms in winter to early spring, choose cyclamen coum bulbs for sale. For early to mid-fall flowers, choose cyclamen hederifolium. For a long season of interest, choose our 6 Months of Mixed Hardy Cyclamen. Cyclamen bulbs naturalize well and are deer resistant. Cyclamen flower colors range from deep to soft pink hues as well as white. Choose from cyclamen for sale with foliage color ranging from lighter silver-green hues to darker green and variegated foliage. Grower's Guide to Cyclamen

Cyclamen grows best in partial to full shade. Gardeners often grow it beneath shrubs, around trees in rock gardens or in mixed borders. Because its foliage is attractive and often variegated, it makes an eye-catching ground cover in shaded areas, too.

Where to plant Cyclamen in your garden?

Once planted, cyclamen doesn't like to be disturbed, so take care in choosing where to plant cyclamen bulbs. Cyclamen plants grow best in soil that is well-drained, rich in organic matter, and that is neutral to slightly alkaline.

How to plant Cyclamen?

Plant cyclamen bulbs ½ - 1" deep and 6-8" apart. The tubers should be planted with the concave side up. Water after planting.

When to plant Cyclamen bulbs?

Cyclamen bulbs should be planted during their dormant period in the spring or fall.

How to care for bulbs?

A mulch covering will protect the bulbs in areas with cold winters. Once cyclamen is established, do not disturb. The cyclamen bulbs will slowly multiply.
