Fragrant Double Freesia Mix
Latin Name: Freesia
Common Name: Freesia
A rainbow mixture of fragrant, bell-shaped flowers in a wide range of colors: Reds, yellows, oranges, whites, and lavender.
Plant 2" deep and 2" apart in good, well drained soil in sun or partial shade. Keep soil moist during growing season. Freesias may be perennial in areas where summers are dry and winters are cool and moist (above 32 degrees F).
Indoor Culture: As a greenhouse or house plant, plant 6-8 bulbs 1" deep in a 6" pot with the pointed ends up. Keep in a cool well ventilated area. Water lightly but do not let plants dry out. After they have flowered, and the foliage becomes yellow, they can be dug, dried and kept for replanting the following fall.
