Golden Spider Lily
Latin Name: Lycoris aurea
Common Name: Magic Lilies (Golden Spider Lily)
Bright and shining golden yellow flowers.
Strap-shaped green foliage disappears in July; flower spike bursts forth in August. Grow in cool greenhouses, outdoors in warmer areas where little or no frost is experienced. Elsewhere protect where temperatures drop into the twenties.
