Hardy Geranium Johnson's Blue

Johnson’s Blue is more a lavender blue than a porcelain blue. Geraniums are not like hydrangea and unfortunately, you cannot make them bluer. I usually plant my geranium in the perennial border since they do grow and spread. A pot might work the first year but it is probably too small for the long run.

Hardy Geranium Johnson's Blue

I bought two and planted them in pots. They are very pretty, but decidedly purple, not blue. Is there some kind of soil supplement when added will achieve blue?

Hardy Geranium Johnson's Blue

I bought 2 of the Johnson Blue's and they are beautiful. I planted them early May and they came up right away and started blooming. Its now the end of July and they are still going strong. Mine do look a little more purple than blue but I still love them.
