A plant with enormous proportions. Grows to 10' tall and 10' wide after a couple of years. Best grown solitary near a pond or stream, and in deep moist soils. Has massive pannicles hidden below the gorgeous foliage. Needs protection against frost, preferably with mulch of their own foliage.
