Creamy white flowers appear in summer followed by bright blue berries which appear in late summer. Berries are not edible for humans but strongly attractive to birds and other wildlife. 'Blue Muffin' makes a great hedge or foundation planting for large buildings. This deciduous shrub will eventually reach heights of 5 to 9 feet and widths of 5 to 7 feet.
