(Miniature Hollyhock, Prairie Mallow) Plant in deep, fertile, loamy soil in full sun to shade. Space 12-18" apart. For best effect, plant in groups of 5-7 or more. Stake tall-growing varieties. Cut back after flowers fade to encourage a second flush of bloom. Grows 24-36" tall. Blooms June-October. Hardy in zones 5a
