My husband and I moved to South Carolina (from New Jersey) in April of 2005, so I’ve been a Southern gardener for three and one-half years now. There was so much to learn about gardening in Zone 8b, and I’m still learning. I joined the Mount Pleasant Garden Club the first year we moved here, and this is my second year as vice-president. I’ve gleaned a lot of information about Southern gardening from the ladies in the club, as well as from our special speakers. Hope you enjoy my garden – it’s my passion!

These two daylilies were very precious to me; they were couple the deer did not eat! |
Black-eyed susans, perilla, lime-green duranta. |
