I reside in Port Orchard, Washington and have been gardening for three years. My husband and I moved to the Pacific Northwest after he retired from serving in the military.

Most of our half acre property is a slope. It's both fun and challenging creating my gardens. It's a constant progression and although my gardens are still young and I'm fairly new to this - I am slowly but surely finding my way!

I have incorporated perennials, bulbs, shrubs and roses together not trying to achieve any desired look except for one that is pleasing to my eyes.
