My name is Kim Kelsey. I live in Springfield, MA and have been a gardener for six years now. I have 7 different beds and rearranged most of them over the years. When I first started out, I planted for color, never bothering with height and width. I soon learned the error of my ways, hence the need for rearranging! I am now a much wiser planter, taking great care placing and spacing properly and using colors. For someone who never had gardens before because I had always lived in an apartment, now that I own my own home, I don't think I do such a bad job. My husband loves to watch me as I nurture each plant, pruning and trimming them just right. I enjoy the first signs of life as the dreary winter gives way to spring. Even as I type, I have little sproutings from spring bulbs peeking through the ground.
I hope you enjoy the fruits of my labors and God's color pallet.
