I have fond memories of my mother's garden and have developed a love of all plants because of her, lilies especially. In the four years that I have been gardening at my home I have assembled a wide variety of plants and try to separate and gift them to all my friends and family. I have a garden devoted entirely to hybrid lilies, at last count it included 13 different varieties. My largest garden flanks beside our barn and draws hummingbirds, honey bees and numerous species of butterflies. There are 40 + different kinds of plants in every color of the rainbow. Gardening gives me great joy (evening pulling those pesky weeds). I have attached a few pictures that represent my gardens in the late summer. Choosing just 10 was extremely difficult. I hope that you enjoy my garden as much as I do!
