We take advanced orders, and as the crops are harvested, our staff of K. van Bourgondien experts makes an on-the-spot selection of the finest bulbs available to fill those reservations.

Orders for gift certificates will be shipped immediately.

Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship any plant items from late June through August. General merchandise will be shipped with your plant order.

Upon placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your order and a shipping estimate. You will also receive an email notification when your order actually ships with an updated arrival estimate. If you have ordered multiple items, you may receive them in more than one shipment. We will send you a separate email confirming each shipment. Large orders may be shipped in more than one package. Your order confirmation will have an estimated shipping time.

K. van Bourgondien is proud to present our favorite lilies in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Hand-selected for their unrivaled beauty, hardiness and in some cases, exceptional fragrance, our selection of tiger, trumpet, Asiatic and more adds charm and elegance to any garden plan.  

Lily Planting and Growing Tips

Plant lilies as soon as they arrive. Take care not to break off any stalks or growth that may be on the bulb. Choose a sunny spot, with light, porous, sandy soil enriched with compost. The ideal site is one where the plants get full sun at the tops and are shaded at the soil level to keep the ground moist. Plant 6-8" deep and 6" apart in clumps of 3 or more bulbs. In the spring, fertilize the bulbs monthly until the plants finish blooming. After flowering, remove only the blooms, NOT the stems or leaves. Allow the foliage to die back naturally. The stalk can be cut back carefully when the foliage has died back completely. See below for height and bloom times. Hardy in zones 3-8.
