Daylilies
Daylilies are outstanding perennials that enhance every garden style: formal or cottage, modern or classical European, Asian and even desert gardens. They can survive without bother in many climates, look "right" in any style landscape, are remarkably drought tolerant once established, and are prey to almost no pests or diseases. Even better, daylilies come in every color except true blue and pure white, and you can choose several different flower shapes and sizes.
